In Running Out of Time, A young girl named Jessie Ford lives in Clifton Village, which is a Historical Preserve. Her Pa is a Blacksmith and her Ma is a medicine women. Their doctor used to have modern medicine. Now all they have is herbs, which they all hate. One night, Jessie goes w/ Ma to get medicine to them. They have Diphtheria, a terrible disease. They get a sign that says Quarantine on it. This book would be recommended because of serious suspense and adventure.
